Christmas Tree Girls

The Christmas Tree Girls was inspired by a true story from 1912 Chicago. Captain Schuenemann and the Christmas Tree Ship is legend in Chicago. His wife Barbara, and their three daughters, Elsie and the twins Hazel and Pearl became known as The Christmas Tree Girls. First introduced in this author's last book, 'Flowers For the Season'; now go on a new adventure with Elsie, Hazel and Pearl. Will there be a Christmas miracle? Perfect for the holidays or any time of the year.

An excerpt:

"One of the passengers on the Great Lakes Transport train included the gentleman that would be playing Santa Claus at the city festival. Ernest Dow was a local from Chicago but had been in Wisconsin taking care of some business for his father's estate."

"Last, but certainly not least was the 45 foot Spruce which was to be the centerpiece for the Christmas Celebrations."

"It seemed the act of giving and helping others distracted people from their own woes and brought them joy in ways they did not expect."

"Before long, she had drifted off to sleep with the soothing rumble of the train beneath her and a darkening sky outside."

"Elsie hooked her arm through the tear filled woman's arm, "its Santa Claus!" and dragged her along with her to greet Mr. Dow."

"Oh, my! You really do look like Santa Claus."
